Johanna M. Buchman, B.S.

Johanna has her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with emphasis in Psychology, and more than 20 years in human services as a manager, social worker, trainer and consultant. She has more than 15 years in church leadership as a teacher, missions director, public speaker, leadership trainer and prayer group coordinator.

Formerly employed as a supervisor in Child Protective Services in Ohio, Johanna now works as the Director of Social Services with America World Adoption Association for their Western Regional Office in Tucson, Arizona. As a member of Aglow International, she has offered numerous trainings and studies through this organization. She has served on several advisory boards for children and youth and adults, specifically related to child/adult abuse and neglect, sexual abuse and adults with physical disabilities.

Her areas of specialization include interracial/intercultural adoption, issues of abuse/neglect and child development, working with women in crisis, mentoring, providing assistance to the homeless, management and supervision, leadership development, and organization and design

Johanna currently works in the United States, Canada, Eastern Europe and is extending her ministry into North Central Asia as a consultant and trainer in Leadership Development, Organizational Design and Child Development.

Johanna has been married for 25 years and has two married children and one granddaughter and three grandsons. She and her husband Don reside in Tucson, Arizona.
